Yamahas entry level MT-03 hyper naked is back for 2020 with an aggressive new look. The eye-catching new styling features dual-eye position lights that convey a predatory look. A small,
powerful LED headlight is positioned inconspicuously beneath the front cowl, and slim new LED flashers have been integrated into the MT-03s racy lines.
The striking next-generation design has been dubbed Dark Lightning, and flows across the motorcycle from headlight to tail light. Mass-forward body styling features a tightly-packed appearance around the
engine area, and a new wide-shouldered fuel tank cover and lightweight air scoops reinforce the strong MT family links. Topping off the eye-catching changes is a new-look state-of-the-art dashboard featuring an
LCD display with attractive multi-function design and layout.
Updates for 2020 are not confined to styling, technical advancements aimed at keeping the MT03 at the head of the entry-level pack have also been incorporated. Sport Bike-style upside down forks deliver enhanced handling performance during braking, acceleration, and cornering. The rear suspension has also been upgraded with revised preload and damping settings, along with a stiffer spring. The technical layout of the proven 321cc two-cylinder engine has been retained.
